Overview: Quinton Davies is working on behalf of a medium sized regional accountancy practice who are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant in one of their Somerset offices.
Duties & Main Responsibilities:
Calculate and prepare month end management account adjustments and journals
Review work
Complete bank reconciliations and control accounts
Undertake VAT return preparation work
Provide cloud software training
Managing the sales and purchase ledgers”
Raise sales invoices and manage client sales ledgers
Enter purchase invoices and manage the supplier ledger
Experience, Attributes and Qualifications required:
AAT part or fully qualified
Possess knowledge or have experience of day to day bookkeeping and the processes involved
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to remain professional at all times
Excellent attention to detail
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience of using Xero, Quickbooks online or Sage 50 would be beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of purchase invoice automation software.
