Accounts Manager

Role: Accounts Manager (General Practice – Non Audit)
Salary: £40-45k DOE
Location: Swindon


Overview:
My client is an established accountancy firm based in Swindon who are seeking to recruit an Accounts Manager to join their growing team. 
  
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Management of the outsourced resources in conjunction with the Audit Manager
  • Management and delivery of accounts assignments for Limited Companies (including groups), Sole Traders and Partnerships from both balanced systems including cloud-based software and incomplete records
  • Preparing draft corporation tax and business tax computations including supporting analysis
  • Management of the VAT and book-keeping services
  • Planning workflow and assignments, including budgeting
  • Taking the lead and assisting on assignments
  • Supervising, delegating and reviewing work of the team, including outsourced resources
  • Delivering information and communicate with clients in a timely and effective manner

 Qualifications & Experienced Required:
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3 years of practice experience (qualified by experience will be considered)
  • Experience in, and ability to, multitask and prioritise a number of jobs, whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines and expectations are met
  • Experience leading and assisting on assignments including; planning, preparation and completion
  • Display strong technical knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards

Payroll Administrator

Role: Payroll Administrator
Salary: £28-32k DOE
Location: Bristol


Overview:
My client is a established accountancy firm based in East Bristol who are seeking to recruit a part or full time (minimum of 3 days per week) Payroll Administrator to join their small and friendly payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for administering end-to-end payroll services. This will also include the submission of clients’ returns under the Construction Industry Scheme.
 

The role will suit an enthusiastic and organised individual with experience working as a payroll assistant within a practice or bureau environment. You will have excellent communication skills, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office products alongside modern accountancy software packages such as Brightpay, Quickbooks, Xero and the like.​

  • End-to-end calculation for a portfolio of client payrolls on weekly, fortnightly and monthly cycles.
  • Administer pensions and submissions to providers
  • Submission of CIS returns
  • Calculating holiday, parental pay, notice pay etc.
  • Dealing with all levels of client queries
  • Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs on a regular basis

Quinton Davies are partnering with an established, innovative and fast-paced financial services client who are seeking a talented and motivated Fund Accountant to join their dynamic team in the heart of Bristol.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements for a variety of investment funds.
  • Maintain accurate fund accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly fund reconciliations.
  • Liaise with auditors, clients, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis and reports to support decision-making.

     

Requirements:

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE.
  • Proven experience in fund accounting or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Quinton Davies are working with a rapidly growing early stage Tech for Good business to secure a Customer Experience Lead.
 
The CX Lead is a critical role for this innovative business. You will be the main point of contact for all clients and end users, supporting them in set-up and to overcome any issues they have with the product. 
 
The products is digital and provides healthcare support to service users across the country. 
 
The role of CX Lead will:
  • Initial point of contact for clients and service users
  • Support the CX Manager
  • Maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system 
  • Mentor and train junior members of staff
  • Support product deployments
  • Provide product demonstrations (some travel and occasional overnight stays)

My client is a rapidly growing accountancy firm based in North Bristol who are seeking to recruit a Payroll Assistant to join their established and friendly payroll team.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for administering end-to-end payroll services. This will also include the submission of clients’ returns under the Construction Industry Scheme.
 
Alongside the payroll service, you will be responsible for providing auto enrolment service for clients to ensure they are compliant with their duties. This will include making assessments, providing notices, liaising with pension providers and registering with The Pension Regulator.
