Role: Client Manager

Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £40-45k

Overview

My client is an established firm of accountants who due to sustained growth are looking for an experienced / skilled Client Manager to join their growing practice and deliver the very best service to their valued client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and tailored solutions.

• Lead client meetings and maintain strong, long-term relationships.

• Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other compliance work.

• Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff members.

• Ensure the timely delivery of services and quality work within deadlines.

• Identify opportunities for business development and growth.

• Stay up to date with accounting regulations and trends to advise clients effectively.

Skills and Experience

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.

• Strong experience in managing client relationships within an accountancy or professional services firm.

• Excellent knowledge of tax, accounting, and financial reporting standards.

• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Team player, with leadership abilities and a desire to support others’ development.
