AP Analyst

 

Quinton Davies are working with a dynamic finance team located outside of Swindon to secure an AP Analyst.

 

This is a varied role where you will gain exposure to off-shore teams and some project work. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Local queries
  • Involvement in process and system changes
  • Timely supplier payments
  • Support invoice matching, query resolution, payments, helpdesk, and expense payments
  • Assist with month-end processes and provide cover for the AP Manager

  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and professional attitude
  • Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups, pivots)
  • AAT studier or equivalent preferred

Revenue Controller

Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 
Location: Bristol (hybrid) 
 

This role can offer you

Here are a few examples of what your daily tasks would include: 

  • The management of working capital, working towards targets to minimise overdue debt and maximise cash receipts.
  • Conducting monthly meetings to review any client and matter related working capital (WIP and Debt) issues.
  • Liaising with a large portfolio of clients daily regarding debts and then updating the firm's credit control system in a timely, accurate manner to enable the effective tracking and monitoring of the status of any outstanding invoice.
  • Preparation of WIP, Disbursement, and Debt reports.
  • Negotiation with clients to arrange payment plans and completion of regulatory paperwork for specific clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Firm's revenue control policies and the discount/write off policy.


Sound interesting? These are the required skills for the role: 

  • A proven record of revenue/credit control and working capital management.
  • Experience working in a face paced organisation with the ability to multi-task.
  • The ability to communicate appropriately and effectively with internal senior stakeholders as well as externally with clients.
  • Good IT skills, specifically with Excel.

 

Experience in the following is not essential but will help you in the role:

  • You will ideally come from a legal or professional services background.

 

Location: You would be required at the office in Bristol and, therefore, need to be within a commutable distance.

My client is looking for someone with some experience in payroll to come and join the expanding team. 

 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

 

  • End-to-end payroll processing
  • Submitting pension contributions
  • RTI Submissions to HMRC
  • Admin duties including maintaining client data and other ad hoc duties
  • Dealing with all levels of client queries using verbal or written communication
  • To always deliver excellent customer service to our clients
  • Assisting the Management team when required
  • Maintain & update statutory payment spreadsheets
  • Liaise with HMRC and other 3rd party organisations when the need arises
  • Any other ad hoc duties the Payroll Manager and Senior Management feels appropriate

 

Skills and Behaviours:


Essential:

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a payroll environment
  • Good computer skills, including the ability to operate excel spreadsheets and word documents at a proficient level
  • Good administration, planning, organising and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
  • High level of customer service orientation and ability to deal with people at all levels
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • A dedicated team player who can also perform tasks independently
  • Up to date knowledge of PAYE legislation
  • CIPP Payroll Technician
