Overview:
Quinton Davies are working on behalf of a well renowned practice based in Newton Abbot who are looking to strengthen their accounts team with the addition of an Accounts Semi-Senior.
 
Main Duties and responsibilities:
-Preparation of LTD company, Partnership and Sole Trade accounts
-Prepare corporation tax computations and CT600's
-Occasional assistance with audit engagements

 
Experience & Qualifications required:
-AAT qualified or equivalent
-Minimum of 2 years' experience working within Accountancy Practices
-Exposure to modern accountancy software such as quickbooks & Xero would be advantageous but training can be provided

What you’ll be doing in brief:
  • Preparing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.
  • Providing bookkeeping services.
  • Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns.
  • Filing Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs documents on client’s behalf.
  • Ensuring that accounting records for clients are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Dealing with the preparation and completion of quarterly VAT returns.
