    Tasks and Responsibilities:
    • End-to-end payroll processing
    • Submitting pension contributions
    • RTI Submissions to HMRC
    • Admin duties including maintaining client data and other ad hoc duties
    • Dealing with all levels of client queries using verbal or written communication
    • To deliver excellent customer service to our clients at all times

    Skills and Behaviours:
    Essential:
    • Minimum 1 years experience working in a payroll environment
    • Good computer skills, including the ability to operate excel spreadsheets and word documents at a proficient level
    • Good administration, planning, organising and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
    • High level of customer service orientation and ability to deal with people at all levels
    • Excellent telephone manner
    • A dedicated team player who can also perform tasks independently
    • Up to date knowledge of PAYE legislation

    Purpose

    As a trainee, you will learn how the department is run, have full instruction on our payroll software, attend relevant courses and assist with the administrative work for the department. As a successful firm of Chartered Accountants, we provide payroll services for our clients and with the recent introduction of Auto Enrolment and RTI, and legislation continually being updated, the need has arisen for a new member of staff.
     
    Main Responsibilities
     
    • Assist in the general activities of the payroll team to include training, to enable you to assist in payroll preparation for our clients

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Assist in development of best practice and consistent process for set up of appropriate cloud based bookkeeping and advisory tools.
    • Promotion of Cloud based solutions to clients
    • Support and educate the team on Cloud based solutions.
