    Mixed Tax Senior Manager

    Role: Mixed Tax Senior Manager

    Location: Middlesex
    Salary: £75-90k

     

    Role Overview:
    As a Mixed Tax Senior Manager, you will be managing a broad range of tax services, consisting of mainly corporate and personal taxation. You will be responsible for overseeing a small team of tax professionals, managing client relationships, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and delivering proactive tax planning strategies to clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take on greater responsibility within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage a portfolio of corporate, international, and personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing high-quality tax advice.

    • Lead and oversee the tax compliance process, including the preparation and review of tax returns and submissions.

    • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, helping them optimise tax structures and mitigate risks.

    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing a responsive and proactive service.

    • Manage a small team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff.

    • Review and manage tax audits and disputes, representing clients before tax authorities when required.

    • Collaborate with other departments to provide integrated tax solutions to clients.

     

    Requirements:

    • ACA/ACCA/CTA (or equivalent) qualification.

    • At least 5-7 years of experience in tax, with a focus on corporate and personal tax.

    • Proven track record in managing a team and delivering excellent client service.

    • Strong technical knowledge of UK and international tax laws and regulations.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

    • A proactive, strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex tax issues.

    • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software.

    Tax Senior

    Overview:
    Quinton Davies is working on behalf of an established regional accountancy practice who are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join their friendly and successful team.


    Duties & Main Responsibilities:
    • Completing tax returns for individuals, company directors, sole traders, partnerships and trusts
    • Preparation of Capital Gains tax calculations to include HMRC’s online UK Capital Gains property registration
    • Corporation tax in relation to dividend arrangements and overdrawn director’s loan accounts
    • HMRC compliance and enquiry work
    • Checking PAYE codes of clients and giving general payroll advice
    • National Insurance matters in respect of UK workers and overseas matters in relation to clients

    Experience, Attributes and Qualifications required:
    • ATT qualified and/or qualified by experience
    • Relevant, recent personal tax experience within an accountancy practice
    • A drive to deliver sound technical knowledge
    • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
    • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written

    Role: Corporate Tax Senior Manager / Director

    Overview:
    Quinton Davies is working on behalf of an established large regional accountancy practice who due to recent expansion in the Hampshire region, are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager or aspiring Director to join their friendly and successful team.



    What you’ll be doing in brief:
    • Managing and reviewing large complex corporate tax compliance matters
    • Corporate tax HMRC enquiries
    • Undertaking tax due diligence reviews and preparing key findings reports
    • Advising on international corporate tax issues and structuring
    • Assisting with corporate reconstructions / demergers etc
    • Providing general business tax advisory services 

    Experience and Qualifications required:
    • CTA and / or ACA/ACCA qualified
    • Experience of working within practice, with the competence to manage a varied portfolio of clients and assignments, management and coaching of staff and trainees
    • Excellent interpersonal skills – ability to deal with colleagues & senior stake holders at all levels
    • Self-motivated, innovative and able to show initiative
    • Accurate and able to work well under considerable pressure at times
