Project Manager

Quinton Davies is pleased to announce that we have an amazing opportunity for a Project Manager to join a specialized company committed to offering comprehensive construction services tailored specifically to the needs of the food and beverage industry. With a focus on both building and maintaining facilities within this sector and serves as a convenient one-stop solution for businesses of all sizes involved in production.

Responsibilities
 
  • You will shadow the Senior Project Manager while he is the point of contact to several                 customers on a day-to-day basis.
  • You will need to learn about the different materials that are used within the Food Industry.           There are many different processes that we must follow to adhere to customers guidelines.
  • The Project Manager may give you some joint responsibility for planning and completion of         projects including arranging materials, method statements, risk assessments and                       organising labour. All of this would be communicated through the Manager prior to going to       the H&S department/Purchasing/HR department.
  •  You will delegate a range of responsibilities to the staff to develop their skills and                         experience and support effective project delivery.
  • You will need to deliver the high service demanded by our customers by acting in good faith       and as required by us, to promote the success of the company and maintain high s                     standards of business conduct.


Experience
 
  • Experience of the food industry would be beneficial. Experience within the construction              industry is essential.
  • Proven track record as an individual who is happy to learn, is proactive and on time.
  • Excellent problem solving, planning and progress control skills are essential.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
  • Understanding critical path analysis and application.
  • Excellent Customer care skills both face to face and in written communication.
  • Successful ability to work to targets.
  • Strong process orientation in approach to work.
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
£ 40,000 - 70,000 Permanent Surrey
