Overview: Quinton Davies is working on behalf of a well-established practice firm based in central Bristol who are looking for an Accounts and Payroll Supervisor.
Main Duties:
Assist in the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and there will be opportunities to prepare tax computations from time to time.
Bookkeeping for clients and preparing and submitting VAT Returns via Quickbooks and proprietary software.
Preparation of monthly payrolls.
Assisting clients with adoption of new accounting software and providing assistance where necessary.
Assisting with the General Administration of the practice
Experience / Qualifications Required:
AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA part qualified
At least 2 years’ experience in practice
Accountancy packages such as Xero, Quickbooks, IRIS, SAPA and Sage Line 50
VAT technical experience
