Payroll Team Leader 
Torquay 
Permanent - Full Time 
Salary - Up to £36kp/a 

Playing a key part in the day to day running of monthly and weekly client payrolls and the overall development of our bureau, your responsibilities will include:

· People managing our Payroll Administrators – this will include reviewing work, answering any of their queries and ensuring that an excellent level of client service is offered

· Liaising with clients to ensure that you have all the information required to run their payrolls

· Processing tax and allowances

· Providing a pensions auto enrolment service

· Dealing with payroll and bank credits

· Supporting our team of Payroll Managers with ad-hoc project work

About You

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:

· Previous payroll administration experience – this can be gained from within either an in-house or bureau environment

· A track record of successfully coaching and mentoring individuals within a payroll environment

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong IT skills and a confident user of Microsoft Excel

· Experience of identifying and recommending process improvements

Experience in the following is not essential but will help you in the role:

  • Professional payroll qualification is preferred but not essential 

Location: You would be required at the office in North Bristol and the candidate needs to be within a commutable distance.
